Meet Mr. MC (Jaraldo Newland)
Born in the vibrant parish of Trelawny, Jamaica, Mr. MC’s love for music began at an early age. Fascinated by the craft of music production, he dreamed of creating sounds that moved people. In 2010, his journey began with the founding of Shoota Production and ShootaMC, marking the start of his exploration into the world of audio engineering.
Through years of hard work, dedication, and self-motivation, Jaraldo honed his craft. In 2017, he earned his Master Recording Certificate from the prestigious Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Building on this foundation, he launched New Island Music Creation in 2020, combining the vibrant rhythms of the islands with the smooth beats of urban music.
